Home2 Suites Brings a Modern Extended Stay Option to the Beaver Valley Area

Home2 Suites Pittsburgh Area Beaver Valley, the latest hotel development project by Millcraft Hospitality, has announced a grand opening celebration date of October 26th. The event will take place from 4-7pm, with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:30pm. Media and community leaders are invited to attend to meet the team and tour the new extended-stay property.

The Home2 Suites Beaver Valley is located minutes from Shell’s new cracker plant site, and right by the Beaver Valley Mall. With 107 all-suite rooms, the Home2 will provide all of the comforts of home for its extended-stay guests, including being entirely pet-friendly.

“We’re excited to take part in the revival happening in the Beaver Valley area,” said Marcus Piatt, President of Millcraft Hospitality. “With the influx of new jobs and economic growth, we saw an opportunity to provide much needed long-term accommodations for workers and families traveling to the area.”

The Home2 Suites is a fairly new brand by Hilton with a special focus on sustainability and eco-consciousness. The property’s unique features include a heated saline pool maintained with natural minerals as well as recycling stations on each floor near the elevators.

Entering through the lobby, guests are greeted by a functional and dynamic communal space dubbed the Oasis. Banquette seating, meeting space, a business center and plentiful power and data outlets offer guests a workspace that’s inspiring and versatile. Expansive outdoor areas include a patio with fire pit and a barbeque area.

Daily free breakfast is served in the adjacent Inspired Table area offering plentiful meal combinations with a variety of healthful options. The Spin2 Cycle center, located down the hall, serves as a dual laundry-fitness facility, giving the chance to work out while monitoring laundry.

The guestrooms boast a kitchen with full-sized everything, featuring a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and coffeemaker. Induction burner cooktops are available by request at the front desk, allowing guests cook their own healthy meals while on the road. Flatware, dishes, and glassware are supplied in every room.

“We are celebrating our company’s 60th year anniversary, so this year is extra special for us,” remarked Marcus Piatt. “This project marks the opening of our 9th hospitality development project in the Pittsburgh region.”

Millcraft Hospitality has plans to continue development through next year to provide additional sleeping rooms, a restaurant, and 3,000 square feet of banquet space. Marcus Piatt continued, “we’re not stopping here. The Hilton Garden Inn and Jacksons Restaurant + Bar is set to open in 2018, right next door to the Home2, which will include a great banquet facility.”

As the owner’s representative, Piatt managed design and construction, and helped cut costs through value engineering and pre-construction negotiation.
