Millcraft Sponsors & Gears Up for Fight For Air Climb 2018

This year, the American Lung Association is hosting its annual Pittsburgh Fight For Air Climb in Millcraft’s own Tower Two-Sixty. We’ve also joined as a corporate sponsor, and are climbing our stairs in honor of James Huey, a Millcraft employee who recently passed after his battle with cancer.

This annual event raises funds for the American Lung Association and awareness for those struggling with lung disease, and promotes the importance of an active lifestyle and clean air.

On April 7, join us to climb all 18 flights of steps (or as many as you’re able!). Participants are required to fundraise a minimum of $100.

If you’re interested in participating on Millcraft’s team, please contact Chelsea Peluso
([email protected]) for more details, or join our Team Page here.

A Note From The Huey Family

james_hueyThe family of James (Jim) Huey would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Millcraft Investments team for honoring our father at the Fight For Air Climb event. It’s an action that pays tribute to the life lived by our father. I know how honored he would be, and if present, would have been a team member; the one thing he remained steadfast during his courageous battle was that he’d never want someone or their family to go through what he did. From the very day of diagnosis of stage IV non-small cell adenocarinoma, my dad exhibited strength, determination, an upbeat demeanor, and the constant worry of how his children, girlfriend Lisa, and rest of the family were going to handle and be ok throughout his battle. He was a do’er and fixer of all things, lending his always-working hands — expecting nothing in return. He loved his family, rarely had a complaint, and went above and beyond when it came to his children. He would be humbled by the honor, as is his family. His legacy will live on through me and my brother as we hope to raise awareness and donate funding for researching all lung diseases. Thank you again Millcraft for all you did and the understanding/support you exhibited for my father and family during Dad’s fight for air battle!

Sincerely,
Leslie and Matt and our entire family
